I know its been a long time but I finally have an update.

So I took the plunge and uninstalled Creative Cloud and tried to re-install but it didn't work. So spent the rest of the day trying to solve it. Terminal solution didn't work, Finding files and removing them didn't work and then I found some one talking about a cleaning app adobe had for this issue. I spent time searching for this and finally found it and downloaded and ran the program. Restarted the computer as instructed and tried the new install again and YAY! IT WORKED!!!

Here is the article about the cleaning tool

Thanks for the update Gem!

If you need to remove Adobe applications in the future please make sure to utilize the process listed in Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps .  Using the uninstallers should help prevent situations where the CC Cleaner Tool may need to be utilized.

Hi Jeff,

The issue was not with one of the programs but with the creative cloud desktop app its self. I tried all of the normal uninstall instructions I found and could not get the system to re-install as I stated in my last post. This meant the Cleaner Tool was the only option left to me.

I'm also finding this at the moment. My Mac is asking for a password, I'm entering it and nothing is happening.
