$39.59 Charge after subscription ended for a few months?

I want to dispute a charge on my account at 16 February of $39.59. My previous plan with Adobe was the 1 year plan with Creative Cloud with my last transaction at July 2017, same date my plan ended. It is now March 2018 and I have not yet registered for a new plan nor have I logged in for months after my previous plan ended. What is this charge and will I be able to get a refund on this because I just realised now and I havent been given details by Adobe as to what the charge is for.

I went through a similar dispute with Adobe through my son’s school. No, they will not budge, falling back on fine print. I am out hundreds of dollars and livid. I will never pay for another Adobe product at any cost

For anyone else reading this, When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you buy a subscription... https://www.adobe.com/misc/subscription_terms.html

The "fine print" is that when you commit to buy an annual subscription, not the higher cost monthly subscription, there is a fee to pay if you cancel early - SOME programs are available Monthly instead of Annual https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1926342

You are so very true.  Do not expect a big money hungry company to help you through a subscription disagreement. The bank‘s suggestion...cancel your card...even more grief and trouble.   If you can live without the products Adobe produces...like I can and will, then at least there is some recourse.  I have never experienced a less fulfilling conflict resolution process.  And with luck, never will have to again
