ACCM Update failed - new in 2018

Hello,

on 04.04.2018 the Adobe Creative Cloud Manager announced two new app updates for Bridge CC and for Camera Raw!

Camera Raw (10.3) could be installed without any problems, but with Bridge CC (6.2.0 is the current version) came the message "Update failed", Error 49 when installing!

Now I have done all the actions I could find in the forum, to no avail.

Where is the problem now - about Adobe, or is the "update" not an update?

Can I load the update directly? What does the update contain?

Please no answers that have already been published in the forum, because I've tested all these already!

Greetings from Germany

R. Stephan

and today the updates are back, but they do not work!

Hi Ralf,

sorry for the delay in response, could you please try to create a new admin user account using the steps mentioned here: macOS Sierra: Set up users, guests, and groups on your Mac and try to install the updates there?

If the error still persists, I would request you to try the network troubleshooting steps mentioned in this link: - Error downloading or updating Adobe Creative Cloud apps and share the results.

Thanks,

Hi Ralf,

As you mentioned that you are receiving error code 49 while updating Camera Raw and Bridge CC.

Please follow steps shared in the link for the solution: Troubleshoot Error 49 (download or update failed).

Hope this helps! Feel free to update the thread for more questions.

Thanks

Kanika

Hi Kanika,

sorry, but you must read exactly:

"on 04.04.2018 the Adobe Creative Cloud Manager announced two new app updates for Bridge CC and for Camera Raw!

Camera Raw (10.3) could be installed without any problems, but with Bridge CC (6.2.0 is the current version) came the message "Update failed", Error 49 when installing!"

Your Link is very old, and I have all this tried out without success!

"Now I have done all the actions I could find in the forum, to no avail."
