Acrobat X install problem Mac OS X Mojave

I had to replace my hard drive in my iMac Retina, causing me to reinstall all my Adobe CS6 apps. Everything reinstalled fine, except for Acrobat X Pro & Flash. Obviously don't care about Flash, but Acrobat X Pro is a problem.

 

The installer get almost to the end, asking me to close certain Safari files, etc. but when done says installation failed.

Acrobat X is discontinued and unsupported.  I'm not even sure if you can activate it anymore.  For security reasons, the latest Acrobat software is safer for you to use.

Guess the right had doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Adobe sent the complete master collection cs6 to me yesterday.

No reason to think it wasn't genuine. email from Adobe.com, new product listed with good serial number. Download link to https://trials.adobe.com, Product and serial number showed up in my Product registration list. Buy the way I've been a customer since 1988.
