Acrobat X Pro: "Update Failed" Error: 130200

I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 and reinstalled CS5.5 which automatically updated to CS6.0.  Every day I get a pop-up box stating there is an update available for Acrobat X Pro, but when I run the request, I get a pop-up box that says:

"Update failed

An error occurred.  Please check for updates again later.

Error: 130200"

I've tried rebooting my PC a few times.  I've also updated Acrobat X Pro from within the program without any problem.  In fact, I was running Adobe Bridge and selected to update software and it looked for updates for all CS6.0 programs, including Acrobat X Pro, which it successfully updated. But within an hour, I received a pop-up box stating there was an update available for Acrobat, and when I selected it, I received the message above.

Back when CS5.5 was the latest version of CS, Adobe created a policy, if you purchased CS5.5 you would get a free upgrade to CS6.0 when it was made available.  A problem I've had dating back to then, is I can't just install CS6.0 directly because when I do it tells me I have a serial number for CS5.5.  But when I try to install CS5.5 (like I did last week), it accepts my serial number for CS5.5 and then installs CS6.0.

it's difficult to determine what's actually happening because part of what you report is impossible: cs5.5 would never 'update' to cs6.
