Activating a machine that is offline

New Here ,
Aug 06, 2013 Aug 06, 2013

This is not an After Effects issue but since I was forced to pick a product, I picked that since I have it.

I work as a contractor for the government in a secure building. I can't connect my machine to the internet because of network regulations. (They're ridiculously stupid but I have no say over it.)

I used the offline computer to generate a Request Code.

I went to www.adobe.com/go/getactivated and used the generated Request Code as well as the product's Serial Number in the fields specified therein.

Instead of getting a Response Code, I get 2 'Invalid' errors, one for each of the numbers I enter. I have checked them for accuracy repeatedly. They are correct, yet the Adobe site insists they are wrong.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience with this process. My full-time job is in a similar situation and I'm considering pushing for us to get CC at work.
