Activating old Lightroom license on a new computer?

I purchased Lightroom and installed it on my old computer which suddenly completely died. It won't turn on or anything, and I want to install Lightroom in my new computer, can I do that with my previous license or do I actually have to pay for it all over again?

install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your cc programs and trials.

I've downloaded the cc app as you suggested but I can't get to where I put in the old license code ?

i think you posted in the wrong forum.  read message 3 about lr 6.  if you have an older version, download the installation file.

Do you have Lightroom CLOUD, or Lightroom version 6 (or earlier) with a serial number?
