Solution for Mac and Windows :

1 - Quits all the Adobe process 

- For MAC :Run the Activity monitor to quit these processes .

Go to Application > Utilities > Activity monitor .

Select the process and force quit

- For Windows :Run the Taske Manager to quit these processes .

Windows 7 : "Ctrl+Shift+Esc"

Windows 8 and 10 : "Windows+X" to Access the Power User Menu

Processes to stop ( if present ) :

Adobe CEF Helper

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe IPC Broker

Service d'intégrité d'origine Adobe

CCLibraries

CCXProcess

Nuage créatif

CoreSync

2) Delete these folders  :

Windows :

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore

C:\Programs\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE     

C:\Programs\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory    

C:\Users\<Your_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

C:\Users\<Your_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater

C:\Users\<Your_name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory

Mac :

[MacHD]/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager

[MacHD]/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud

[MacHD]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

[MacHD]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore

[MacHD]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache

-> From the hidden library : Hidden "library" folder in Finder - Apple Community

~Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory

~Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater

~Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

3) Empty the trash .

4) Install CC desktop again from the link :

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html

Thank you so much, I'd just run into this problem and none of the other solutions I found worked, but this one fixed it!

The solution of SlStore and Slcache suggested on another thread is working also but not for all the users but this one should resolve the issue for everyone.Hope that helps .
