Hi All,

I am trying to activate my copy of Adobe Indesign CS3, but I am getting the error Too Many Activations.

I contacted support and they told me to post it to the Forums.

I have a volume license key.

I no longer have access to my previous computer.

Thank you

Larry

    Thank you for your help.

I won't use my Indesign CS 3 and found other software. The new support system isn't working so well.

Thank you for your reply. This can be closed as I found an alternate method since it is so problematic to get proper support.

I have to agree totally.  I have tried to get assistance from Adobe - they would have to be the most un-helpful software company I have come across.  I purchased my program in 2008, have all the documentation, serial number etc and because my PC has died and I cant de-activate the program (PC dead) I cant get it re-activated.  The last time a PC died on me back in 2013 I was able to get an activation code - actually got someone to talk to me.  Now all you get is the person on the end of the phone sending you to the website and the website is absolutely useless in assistance.  The other thing they tell you to do is go to the Forum but the forum cant assist with re-activation either.  If I did not have so much stuff tied up with Photoshop and other programs I would look elsewhere.

adobe support made an error.  that's something they need to handle.

when contacting them, request an activation count reset.  if all they hear is that you want help with cs3, they'll turf you to the forums and miss the fact that this is an adobe support issue, not a forum issue.
