Activation of LR6 via disc on 2nd PC

I am struggling to activate the user licence after downloading files from LR6 disc onto my new PC. After signing in to my Adobe account the activation fails when I click the license acceptance box. Please advise.

    Hi kglad, I've followed guidelines and still no luck. Screen goes blank when I agree to licence terms. I may have used a different email address on my LR account when setting up LR6 on old PC. When I logged into my Adobe account a month ago, using old PC, LR6 was listed as a product. When I now log in on new PC, it is no longer there. Thanks for trying to help me thus far.

    Forgive the silly question, but how do I secure the matching serial number?

    Thanks for the update, Mark. I am glad you could access the old account. Please see https://adobe.ly/4lWS9RG for information on how to review the serial number and download any installation files that are available from your account. If only a serial number is listed and no download button is available, the installation files are no longer available for distribution.

    We have updated the security certificates on some of our older installers, so for certain software titles and versions, the version available from https://adobe.ly/4l7V8Wb could be different than those contained on CD/DVD. I don't recall if this process was done for Lightroom 6, Mark, but it doesn't hurt to get a fresh copy of the installation files as suggested by Kglad. Please also back up any files you download in case they are unavailable for future distribution. ^JW
