You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

Acrobat X Pro, Reader, and Suite:

http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.html

The site linked above is set up to download the files from the Adobe servers, which is why you need to closely follow the Instructions.

I made the attempt and it loops me straight back to "XI" download... not "X" 😞

Thanks Ned, but I've tried the link... when I click on the link it loops me to "XI" not "X". It seems as though Adobe has taken "X" off of their site completely.

Hi Elizabeth,

You are not alone as far as having difficulty with getting the download to work properly.  You need to follow the instructions on the download page to the letter.  The first 3 steps tend to be where most folks miss a detail.

You might try using a different broswer as well if continued attempts with the current one still don't work out.  Having to do this is not normal for this issue, but is for others, so it can't hurt to try.

Hi Ned,

Curlee14 is looking for Acrobat X Pro for Mac.

The Mac trial version is not available at prodesigntools.com or adobe.com.

As far as I know, only the Windows trial version is available for download.

What instructions on the download page? The download page that your link sent me to is for "XI" ... Not "X".

It appears John is correct - they do not offer a Mac version - it's hard for me to remember what they do and don't have sets for -  I'll have to mark it in my notes somehow.

As far as you linking to the page for XI goes, I have no explanation for that... it links me to the page for X.

Here's a screenshot of the page I am brought to: (Hopefully you'll be able to see the image...) It's "XI" -- not "X"

Don't worry about that link, Curlee14. It won't help you download Acrobat Pro X for Mac.

That file is not available. Adobe never made a trial available to the public.

How did you purchase Acrobat X Pro for Mac in the first place? Download? From Adobe or a reseller?
