Adobe Application Manager has changed to Adobe Creative Cloud?

Hi. I have LR6 and PSE13 x64-bit standalone applications installed on my Win10 PC - just now Adobe Application Manager updated itself to Adobe Creative Cloud and put a shortcut on my desktop. I don't want any subscriptions so can I just ignore this and not sign in to Creative Cloud (or even uninstall it, although your help pages advise not doing the latter? If I then start each application and check for updates I get the familiar Adobe Application Manager pop-up, so why was Adobe Creative Cloud installed? There as no mention of this happening prior to the update for Adobe Application Manager so I'm puzzled as to why I seem to being steered to CC and possibly a subscription model - I'm quite happy for the time being with my standalone versions thank you! Any light anyone can shed or re-assurance that I'm not being forced to take out a subscription when it is neither wanted nor needed would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance DocD

    Correct answer Ned Murphy

The Cloud Manager replaces the Application Manager.  I just deleted it for my own peace of mind.

Thanks for your reply - I went the 'halfway-house' route and just deleted the Cloud Manager short-cut from my desktop: since I never activated a Cloud Manager Account I assume it'll just stay dormant. I'm reluctant to uninstall it completely as Windows 10 seems to be stable just now, so I don't want to upset anything!

I see that looking for an update still brings up the usual Adobe Application Manager pop-up dialogue so I'm happy to let things stand as they are for now.
