I'm getting the same. It's worked fine for years and one day (but only on my laptop) when I tried to open an Adobe program it says Adobe Application manager is missing or broken and to re-install. When I try to re-install it hangs. When i try to delete it won't let me as I have Adobe programs installed.

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Hi,
Thanks for this however the problem is I can’t uninstall as my desktop app has disappeared, it won’t let me download a new copy and it won’t let me uninstall any of the individual programs.
Any ideas?
