Adobe Application Manager Stopped working

I have had the same problem as in many discussions, in which there seems to be few solutions. My AAM stopped working no specific error, I followed the idea of uninstalling all my creative cloud apps and started again only to have the AAM do exactly the same thing once downloaded and installed , now I have a paid subscription and no apps. Now when i click on AAM exe download file I get , "we've encountered the following issues: Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect problem." I have found this and will try to see if int gives any further information. It seems I have the AAM exe file somewhere but now cant find it.

My system is Windows XP SP3.I have used the Adobe cleaner.

"Adobe application manager has stopped working" error occured. Please teach me How do I fix it?

Acrobat version:Adobe acrobat 11 pro

Download the latest version of AAM here and install it:

Hi Mylenium,

Tried that and same result “Download Error”, Download error. Press retry to try again or contact Customer support. May have to try phone support tomorrow. This has been going on for a week trying various things so as a last resort i did the total uninstall and my fears were realised, no app or access. I tried chat last week and got put over to tech support for no response. Thanks for trying to help though.

Back to this problem,

After some time for no reason AAM decided to work again, can't remeber quite when now as have used a Windows Vista, Wndows 7 and windows 8 laptops I have acces too which all seem to work fine however they are not my computers and would like to use my windows XP desktop for the majority of my apps and unfortunately even though my AAM started working again as in it comes up and shows updates the updates do not work and the message says,  "There was an error installing this update. Please try agaiin later or contact customer support (U44M1I216)".

Previously I reloaded all apps as trials and then licensed with my Adobe ID.
