adobe audition 6 installation

Community Beginner ,

I'm having a problem with an Adobe Audition CS6 installation and have tried without success to contact Adobe for technical support - but this forum appears to be the only way to obtain any assistance whatsoever, although our company (a large multinational) has thirteen paid licenses for Audition 6.

We have several duplicate install DVDs for Windows.

I have run the Set-up.exe file on the DVD, and I get the following sequence of screens:

1) Welcome - Install or Try (select Install)

2) Adobe Software Licence Agreement (Accept)

3) Serial Number (enter serial number and Next)

4) Sign In Required - Your serial number for Adobe Audition CS6 [English (International)] has been validated. Sign in is required to install this product and register it under your Adobe ID. Your Adobe ID provides you an easy way to access your serial numbers, the Adobe Creative Cloud and the Adobe.com community. (Sign in now)

The next window is blank and this never changes.

I've tried two separate install DVDs, and also downloaded the installer from Adobe via our account login - I always get the same result and no explanation as to what might be going on.

Is anyone able to explain what's going on and how to fix it, please?

Thankyou

We solved the problem in house, the cause was the use of a proxy server on our internet connection. This had to be turned off, as follows:

Open IExplore, and do internet options | connections | LAN settings | untick proxy button at bottom

and/or (?):

Open Firefox, horizontal bars | Options | Advanced | Network | Settings... | select No proxy (rather than Automatic proxy

The Adobe verification/login process does not appear to work through a proxy server. This is quite basic and should be in the inst

Thanks for your suggestions, unfortunately the host file does not block anything and I do not have the ability to disable our antivirus...
