Why do almost all Adobe apps prevent iMac with OS Sierra from going to sleep?
this behavior is very strange and annoying
Occurs in Animate CC 2018, and older versions of Photoshop, Premiere, etc. it doesn't occur in Illustrator though...

Ok, after restarting each app, all apps, except Animate switched to 'no', but I don't know when and why they become preventing again...
Animate, though, never goes off the preventing auto-sleep mode. I just noticed, that another app - BackroundMusic is also preventing autosleep (I have just recently installed it) - not sure if it's related, but even before that - Animate always prevented it from sleeping.
maybe I will post on Animate forum...

animate is the only program i have on all the time on my mac and it sleeps without problem. i'm not aware of any setting in animate that would prevent sleep.

It's right - there is no setting in Animate, so it seems to me I'm stuck for now...

you could have some file sync'g issue that prevents sleep.

all sync is turned off
a strange thing though - I noticed, that it recently started to go to sleep despite the fact, that in Activity monitor it's still on "Yes"

it will continue to show in activity monitor until/unless it's closed. that's expected.

AfterEffects is preventing sleep as well, as seen in Activity Viewer.
