Hi, I'm on a Mac and I've been having all sorts of trouble installing the newest CC updates. They kept hanging at 84%. I'd quit, reboot and try again and it would get to 85% and hang there. I tried each of the troubleshooters with no success. I didn't want to uninstall, run the cleaner, then reinstall all of my programs but I'm at that stage and I had no choice. I've uninstalled each one, including CC Desktop App. I rebooted and ran the Cleaner, but it fails. saying "not responding" in the Activity Monitor. I've checked all the processes and there's nothing Adobe related to end the process. Any ideas?
Cheers

restart your computer and retry running the cleaner.

Restarted this morning, tried it again. The Cleaner icon will bounce in the dock for 5 mins as the process in Activity Monitor will increase to 99.5% CPU. At that point it says (Not Responding).
FYI I have a late 2009 iMac

reinstall your desktop and then reinstall your cc programs.
if that fails without an error message, Troubleshoot Adobe Creative Cloud install issues with log files

Thanks for the suggestions kglad
I ended up finding and older Adobe Cleaner Software that I was able to use which removed some of the Adobe files. I then followed the instructions for manually removing all other adobe files I could find in my Library. I then rebooted and tried the Newer Adobe CC Cleaner Tool again which finally worked! I had just Camera Raw and another app to remove.
I am currently re-installing CC Desktop App. Hopefully I won't have any further issues installing and updating software.
