I would like to install the above Adobe Creative Suite 5, Student and Teacher edition to my new lightning MacBook Pro 13.

This was installed in my old MacBook Pro 17 which is no longer working.

Anybody’s help is very much appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Hi, edna_g2006! I highly recommend upgrading to the Creative Cloud. Your laptop is much newer than the programs you're trying to run on it, so there could be some issues. Check out the CC Subscription plans here. Best of luck!

Thank you Melissa for your concern with my problem. It is just that I have this program in my old MacBook Pro 17 which broke down and I want to reinstall it in my new MacBook Pro 13 that I bought in June this year. This is a one off purchase I still want to use it because I am happy with it.

I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me exactly the step by steps on how to install it.

    Many thanks again Melissa.

If you wanted this one off purchase - which was and is great software but not made for today's new Macs - to keep running, you needed to NOT get a new Mac. We've told you that, perhaps we weren't clear enough.

Edna_g2006, please see Adobe CS5, student and teacher edition reuse where this topic was just discussed.

You have a much newer verison of Mac OS, this old stuff isn't likely to work. When you get a new Mac expect to buy all new apps. It's part of the joy of Mac !
