Hello ,
I have owned Adobe Creative Suite 6 for several years. Now I have bought a new iMac with version 10.15.1 mac OS Catalina. I can no longer use the purchased software on my PC, can this be remedied?

Thanks in advance ,

Callant Johan

Why not downgrade to an older version of the OS?

Classic Apple. Depends on which Mac you buy as to whether the OS can be downgraded. And it's not for the faint-hearted.

According to this website: "downgrading a new Mac from Catalina to 10.14 Mojave is possible for models other than the 16-inch MacBook Pro and the 2019 Mac Pro."

Part of the joy of getting a new Mac is buying all new apps. This is no exception. You now need to subscribe to Creative Cloud. Contrary to what is widely reported, there is much more to this than 64 versus 32 bit. Apple blocked all old apps, even 64 bit ones.

Only the latest 2020 version is certified on mac OS 10.15.
Before 2018, 32bit code is used for authentication, so you can never start with 10.15 which lost its operation.
Since macOS is a less compatible OS, older applications will soon be unavailable.
