I tried to download under windows google the DNG CONVERTER and it didn't work. ( I clicked on the link, it blinked, nothing happened.) Then I tried EDGE... the download worked flawlessly. Please forward my comment to Adobe. Thanks.

On what page is the link to the DNG converter, please? Chrome recently blocked access to a lot of out of date files, and many useful ones.
