Adobe Education Exchange email?

I received and email I signed up for Education Exchange. I didn't sign up. Is this an auto sign up because I have creative cloud?  Also, I logged in to my Adobe account to post this question and I received 6 emails saying "You Earned" first correct answer, and a bunch of other things.

Is this all new Creative Cloud stuff?
