Hello, I purchased Adobe Illustrator for Mac on Sun. March 1. For the past two days I have tried downloading it many times. It will load to somewhere around 10% then stop. It says remaining time is around 160 minutes. I have let it run, but I still won't load. It freezes around 10%. I have High Sierra OS and plenty of space on my computer. I even turned off my firewall. I have tried Safari and Firefox both. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. I need this program to do work. Thanks for your time.

Where did you purchase Illustrator? Directly from Adobe?
All Adobe programs are only available as a subscription. Did you buy a subscription?

1. Confirm that your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run the latest version of Creative Cloud desktop app and Illustrator + all other apps & services you intend to use.
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html
2. Downloading & installing is a 3 step process. Some apps, particularly anti-virus, can conflict with that process. See links below.

Have you checked the internet connection by downloading a different file over the internet?
Did you try a download manager to download the file instead of downloading it using a browser?
Browsers are ineffective for downloading large files over the internet.
So try using a download manager.

The OP is not using a Browser to download Adobe software. He is doing it through the CC DTA. So no download manager would help.

restart your computer, and reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:
Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
if that fails, repair per https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html
if that fails and you have windows, open your control panel > add/remove programs > cc desktop app > repair
if that fails, uninstall using the correct uninstaller from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes... and then reinstall using*
if that fails, do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:
uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)
if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>
if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.
