Adobe Indesign CC 2017 application not opening

Hi all,

Im trying to find out if Adobe Indesign CC 2017 has been discontinued?

My application has the icon but it is not opening anymore?

Plus – I can not seem to find the download for this version on my Creative cloud.

We have paid plug-ins that only work on that version.

Thanks in advance for having a glance at my query.

Officially Adobe supports and recommends using only the last two versions of the application, so that would be CC2021 and CC2020. With that said, I don't think a working installation would be stopped by Adobe. Lots of folks are using these older installations and I haven't seen such complaints so far. My guess is that your installation got corrupt or uninstalled somehow. Try downloading the installer from the following site and do a reinstall and see if it works or not

Do note that these downloads are provided by Adobe servers so if the links don't work then that means Adobe has stopped providing the downloads.

    IF/When you do have a download, be sure to copy it to AT LEAST one external device
    -since Adobe does sometimes remove old versions from the server
    -a usb flash drive or hard drive, or write to a DVD
