Adobe Mentor Community?

Any idea what happened to the Adobe Mentor Community? I was asked to volunteer my time to mentor a young creative. I answered a lengthy questionnaire that captured my personal and biographical info, then I never heard anything back. No reference to the program seems to exist on the site. I have over 25 years of experience and have mentored a number of people to success, so maybe it was all just a marketing scheme? Prevailing on people's good will and squandering it is not a good look, Adobe.

It sounds like Project 1324 which was discontinued--even though I only first heard about it at MAX last year. According to the blog post, Behance and other student communities are picking up where it left off. Important Announcement About Project 1324 | Adobe Blog

What is the name of the person who contacted you? And how did they get your name? Unless I know the person, I never fill out questionnaires. Unfortunately, these days there are plenty of Adobe imposters floating around. They like to engage unsuspecting users through Google Chat, Skype and other social media spaces. They will say anything to gain your confidence, extract money and/or personal information from you. But the real Adobe staff never use those tactics.

I registered for it at Adobe Max. They followed up with the questionnaire. It was legitimately Adobe.

Hi Dantel,

Was it in a workshop or a lab you were taking or ??? If so, which application? I was at MAX and don’t remember the program being discussed that early. Did you get notice that you were accepted?

This is a user forum, so you are not addressing Adobe. With 25 years experience, though, have you considered answering questions here on these forums?

i know there's a mentor program for adobe community professionals (acp's), but i'm not aware of mentor program for people that are un-vetted.
