Adobe photoshop cs2

hello I am having a difficult time installing photoshop cs2 it just will not let me use it I see it in my pc but it will not work

I have all the serial numbers entered  and I shall enter them here as I am running out of time and patience <serial number removed> thank you need help Catherine Aitken

    You have posted your message on the Photoshop Elements forum.

    PS-CS2’s activation servers were decommissioned some years ago.  However, Adobe has provided a version of PS-CS2 that does not need activating.

    If you have not, already, you need to download this special version, and use the serial number provided on the webpage instead of the serial number on your disks:

    Thank you for your reply but I failed to get the download to make the download work it is a pity this is not work

    As I have always used Adobe products and thought I might have better help in this situation .

    How far do you get when you try to download?  Did the webpage come up with the language links on it?  What happens when you click on the appropriate language link? 

    What happens when you click on the PhSp_CS2_English.exe link?  Does a download start?  It is possible that you have a virus protection program or internet security program that doesn't like downloading a file with the extension .EXE so you might want to disable those temporarily.  What happens when you run the downloaded executable?

    I just tried downloading the 340MB English exe for PS-CS2 and it took about 5 minutes and I was able to get the Windows executable to start up and ask where to extract the files to.  I am not going to go any further into the install process than this because I don't want PS-CS2 on my computer.  So the file on the Adobe server can be downloaded.

    If you give more details of what you're doing and what happens that isn't what you expect, then people here, users like yourself, may be able to help figure out what to do.
