Never posted to any forum before, so apologies. This utility loaded up into the available RAM some several hundred times at 1.3MB each until 94% memory was used, and maxxed 100% of CPU. ie I could not use my PC for any purpose. My only solution has been to uninstall all Adobe programs one at a time in the 5 minutes grace after start-up before this Utility kicks in. Then checked if each program's removal made a difference - it did not. The Adobe programs were Acrobat Reader, Premiere and Photoshop Elements 15 running on Win 10. Before taking the drastic action to uninstall everything I unchecked all the boxes in the Adobe programs not to update, tried disabling Adobe Editor, edited AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat and various other recommendations made by Adobe and the 'net. Does anyone have any idea why this happens and how to stop it if I reinstall Adobe?

I've moved this from the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Get Started forum so that proper help can be offered.
