Adobe XD: Error Code 191

Hello,

I was unable to update Adobe XD for quite some time. In an attempt to correct the issue, I uninstalled XD and the Create Cloud app. After reinstalling everything, I'm now unable to install XD. I have read through and tried all of the solutions offered. My organization blocks access to the MS Store, and I as such, I can not install a UWP app. I need to gain access to files I've created in XD, at a minimum, so I can try and export the content out to use in another app. Where can I download the version prior to the UWP access requirement?

Exit Code: 191

Guidewire Software, I am sorry, but from your post, the installation of Adobe XD is blocked by the companies Group policy.  You will want to use a different computer or request an exception if you wish to install Adobe XD.

As discussed by the document referenced by Kglad, in message #1 of this discussion, the computer must have the ability to install Universal Windows Platform applications.  Without this capability, it will be impossible to install Adobe XD.

Thanks, but as I mentioned, I've tried those solutions and several others already.

Solution 1- Reset or update Microsoft store

Windows update is disabled on our companies network (updates are delivered via some type of managed solution) and installing anything from the MS Store is disabled via group policy.

Solution 2- Install Microsoft 3D Viewer

Installing anything from the MS Store is disabled via group policy.

Solution 3 - Verify that the following directories have read and write access

Tried this several days ago. I unchecked "Read Only" from each folder and applied the change to all sub-directories and files.

Solution 4- Enable sideloading on Windows

This was enabled by default on my  machine. I also tried "Developer Mode" to no avail.

Solution 5- Enable Windows firewall

Tried this as well, it made no difference.

Solution 6- Verify that Windows registry has Trusted Apps enabled

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Appx had no entry for "AllowAllTrustedApps" so I added it. The install still failed.
