AdobeDownloadAssistant does not install prop ally

I managed to download the assistant however i then tried to install it, and it appeared to complete to installation but once the bar had fully loaded the dialog box disappears and nothing else happens, it doesn't launch the download assistant and i have tried refreshing the browser page but still nothing. any idea would be fantastic...

Jamie, you may want to try downloading using a different web browser?  Also please make sure pop up blocking is turned off.
