After Effects CS6 and Maverick

good afternoon,

I have bought the Adobe master collection CS6, mostly because AFTER EFFECTS (version 11), my MAC OX is 10.9.5, (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB, processor  3,2 GHz Intel Core i5), but the After Effect does´t work!

How can solve this problem without spent other money, and without upgrade my MAC OS or buying every month the CS, I can´t add other costs.

I try to install the After Effect 11.04 from Adobe website, but the installation stopped because ADOBE CRASH DAEMON, but actually doesn´t run any other software at all .

Dear Kglad, thank your suggestion I´ve solved the problem with Maverick but now I would like to solve it the problem in my second MAC laptop Mac OS is YOSEMITE 10,10,5, (processor 2,5 GHz Intel Core i7, graphic Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB), I did the installation of AFTER EFFECT (11):

I´ve installed my Afetr Effects through Master Collection CS6, every software seems to work good by Yosemite, exexpt AFTER EFFECT, when I try to open it, the message said the MAC OS (YOSEMITE) is not compatible for this version of AE 11. How can upgrade AE in order to work with MAC OS YOSEMITE?

Should I install the "AfterEffectsTrial-11.0.4-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg"? Is not that for Maverick only?

yosemite is just not compatible.

ae cs6 is compatible with macOS v10.6.8, v10.7, v10.8, or v10.9 (updated).

you don't have anything to lose by trying to install the last ae cs6 update, so try it:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Thank my After Effect works on Maverick now!

Second Problem:

I have the same problem on my laptop now, but here the Mac OS is YOSEMITE 10,10,5, (processor 2,5 GHz Intel Core i7, graphic Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB), I did the installation of AFTER EFFECT (11) from my Adobe Master Collection CS6, but doesn't work.

what didn't work?  what problem do you see?  is the problem during installation or after installation?

I thank you very much, but I´ve tried to do that and the installation failed because the message said "Adobe crash Daemon", I did what the adobe site suggested (monito activity to close the application Crash Daemon, I restar also and there is nothing open exept the Adobe apllicatio Manager, which does the installation!).

So It is impossibile to install the After Effect 11.0.4.

Whre could be the solution? Thanks

did you install ae?

if so, did you update it?
