After Effects saying I don't have enough storage. Help..?

Basically, I don't have enough storage on my primary drive for After Effects so tried changing the location via Creative Cloud drop down menu and preferences. That seemed to work until the Character Design thing and other one downloaded but as soon as After Effects its-self started downloading it crashes at 15% saying I don't have enough storage on a 1TB hard drive with 250GB remaining. Not sure why though. Can't find anything anywhere so came here.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Still don't have anything working. I've gone to File Explorer and right clicked my primary drive to clean files and have uninstalled the additional apps for it so they install on my secondary hard drive but it still crashes on 16%.

Thanks for the help.

P.S. It's not removeable

Thomas32941236123 as Kglad has mentioned it the current errors are being caused by not having sufficient space on the primary OS partition.  I would recommend reviewing your current partition strategy to ensure there is sufficient space on the OS volume for the Operating System, installed applications, and any necessary temporary or swap files.

You also indicated that you utilize After Effects CC 2017 which will also use a large quantity of disk space temporarily, during certain operations, on the primary OS partition.

Around 1GB... Gives the same error for primary at 15% as well, but wasn't sure if 1GB was just not enough.
