AfterEffects CS6 wont open on Yosemite

Our IT department just reformatted our 2 year old Mac Mini, and I have just installed CS6 via disk onto it.  All CS6 programs open perfectly, except AE.  The error message says 'can't open AE on this version of your OS.'  I ran all the latest updates, as directed by online help.  When the updates completed installing, the results window says that several updates were unsuccessful, including the one for AE.  Says to try again later.  What can I do?

You need to install the 11.0.4 update for AE from the link : Adobe - After Effects : For Macintosh : Adobe After Effects CS6 11.0.4 Update
