What is the AGSService service on Windows, and why is it being removed and recreated every day? I get notifications from Process Hacker whenever something's going on with the services (usually during software installations) and this is happening every single day at least once, for maybe a week or two now. Can I just disable or delete the service? Or is this the usual software quality of Adobe products? Tinker until it doesn't crash, then ship it.

Umm, probably not. It's a small tray icon notification specific to Process Hacker that appears twice in a few seconds. One says the service has been deleted and the other says it has been created. No GUI of any Adobe software involved.
Are there any logs of whatever software is in the position to delete and create Adobe services on my computer? I could send you those.

I looked into my Installation Logs directory and there's nothing current in there. Last month or older.
The referenced blog posts is interesting. So that service isn't related to software licensing but just wants to inform me about non-genuine software? Well, I bought mine in the Adobe store and it was genuine the last few years, so I guess I'm good and don't need that service anymore.
Probably stopping and disabling that service won't keep anybody from deleting and recreating it, so these notifications might still come up. I see that the service is currently running and takes 1.5 MB but I don't need that memory.
Still we don't know what instance is actually in the position to reinstall that service without my consent. It must be some elevated background service, maybe that crippled cloud manager or what its latest name was.

They're not giving you a straight answer because this is probably expected behavior.
Think of it this way. If someone tries to disable their "genuine software" service, it'll only stay off for a day or so before automatically turning itself back on.
I noticed the same thing, and the "Hacker" bit really concerned me until I realized what was likely happening.
