Anyone else having problems with Student Subscription?

On checking my account i discovered i was suddenly paying much more a month for my student subscription to CC.

I contacted Adobe and was told i didnt have a student account. I tried to explain that i did. The Agent was not very helpful at all. He just said he would cancel my subscription and i could reapply for a student account.

I just received notification email of the cancellation -

Cancelled membership

Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition (one-year).

It was a student account but only seems for one year. I dont know why. I am still a student till 2020.

At no time did i receive anything from Adobe to say the price was changing. I am sure they can't just increase the price with no notification? Well, they did, but I mean do i have any rights here?

I am trying to save what little money i have. I should be entitled to a refund shouldn't i?

Can someone helpful from Adobe answer me please?

I realise what happened now but at no time did i ever receive a notification that it was increasing. Giving me an option to choose a cheaper plan would have been useful as i dont use all apps.

Now i also see that the Stock add-on of 10 free also ended and now i am paying for that too. Again, with no notification.

Athough Adobe Agents say they notify you a month before expiry, i can tell you they did not. I challenge you to prove it.

So Students Beware of automatic recurring payment plans, without notification.

Adobe: Working students like me are less likely to have time to check these things, till they run out of money....and we are your potential future long-term customers.

When you take the 10 stock images per month subscription, it says, you can cancel the first free month. There is no notification that your free month runs out.

This is a user to user forum and we can‘t look into your case. However, after posting your case number here, we could ask Adobe STAFF to look into your case. Obviously you had a Student subscription and the only reason for a price increase could be that you took a promotion that granted you an additional first year reduction.

Hi,

The student price never changes to normal price . The students have a reduced price but in addition to this reduced price they have an additional discount for the first year. So if your price has changed after the first year is that the promotion is over and you went back to the normal rate but for student anyway.
