Hi, a message apperead in systray that a new Adobe update is avalable. After click on that notification Application Manager was launched and a spinner icon indicates loading, loading and loading... And that's all, application has to be closed from Windows Task Manager. Same result when update is ran from Photoshop. When starting from Windows Start menu, Application Manager is not opened, nothing will happen.

I have CS6 Photoshop installed on Windows 7.

Does anybody know what's up?

Thank you.

Hi Atul saini, thank you for prompt reaction. I tried to delete file opm.db but it does not help. Please let me also mention that I'm not using cc but cs6.

Hi Dušan KOUTNÝ,

Please try the following steps

1.Rename OOBE from.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Adobe

2.Download Adobe Application Manager from : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

3.Right click on installer and pick 'Run as Administrator'.

Kindly revert if the problem still persist.

Thanks!

Atul Saini

Hi Atul Saini,

nope, the only result is that instead in old Application Manager the spinnig weel is turning in Creative Cloud now. I'm reverting that installation back.

But there is another strange thing which might be related to this issue. When I was looking for solution I went through our account on "My product and services". Although I use Photoshop for one year now and product has been registered, there is nothing in the list. When trying to register Photoshop once again, it says that serial number is not valid. Does it makes sence to you? I'm really confused.

Thank you.
