Are the Creative Suite 3 activation servers shut down?

I was informed on live chat that my CS3 version has the same problem. They told me to install CS2 non-activation version. OK, but first where can O download it? I don't have old CS3 CD's anymore.

    Ewam37101537 I apologize for the confusion.  The activation server for Creative Suite 3 has not shut down.  In fact it is the same server being currently utilized for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud memberships.

    You can download the installation files for Creative Suite 3 at Download Adobe Creative Suite 3 products .  If you need to locate your registered serial number then I would recommend reviewing Find your Adobe product serial number quickly​.

    Finally you indicated that our support team told you that the CS3 server was shut down.  Do you have a case number so that I can review the interaction?

    Hi. Finally someone took me seriously? Only after posting the issue on Facebook or why?

    Anyway, I was informed that you no longer support CS3 and I need to download a special version which doesn’t require activation. But Agent didn’t give me a link to download only a link to read a bout the installation... I was still in the sam point. This is case number: 0218873151. I spoke with one person yesterday, and one today. Yesterday I was told that I need to look for answers on forum today that CS3 was shut down due to errors. I called 800 702 434, spoke 12 min with someone who told me to go to forum, didn’t mention anything about CS3 being shut down. You guys really want people to get crazy? The result is that I still can’t work, spent 3 days on contacting 4 persons who didn’t help in fact each told me something different.

    I need to work and activate the program that I paid for. I do not have CD’s so I installed it from a file from your site. It looks like I am one step from finish but I can’t get an authorization code, cause you only give it over "the phone and phone activation is no longer available”

    I feel I am being passed from one hands to another with no results. A trial that was saving my life is over,  I am loosing money and maybe a client. Plus started  to regret I am involved with Adobe at the first place.

    Are you a person who can help, or another robot who doesn’t know the real helpful answers?

    Thanks for the update Ewa.  I would recommend following the steps listed in Advanced solutions to connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications  to resolve the connection error preventing Creative Suite 3 from activating.  In particular I would recommend running the Host File Fix solution within the CC Cleaner Tool.  You are welcome to update this discussion if you have any questions regarding the steps listed in the document.
