A day I wont get back.Started with info notification  Bride app to update. Ran it and it stuck at 90% tried to stop it and that stuck. Searced for and tried many 'solutions' to no avail. Whatever I do I cant get past the 'another installer is running' message. There is not.

Ive tried the Cleaner tool and a download of the software. Nothing works... Wits end.

Jo, sorry for the frustrating experience while trying to install Bridge CC. The current error is because the Windows Installer Service is in use by another process or application.  Do you have any pending Windows 10 updates available?

If the computer is fully up to date, then please try rebooting to see if that frees the Windows Installer Service to be used for the Bridge CC installation.  If you continue to encounter problems, then see https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-instance-updater-running-cs5.html for additional steps that you can take.

Thanks for your help. I'm sorry to report that the Windows Installer Service shows as not running in Services. I have no pending Win updates. I have rebooted so many times today and the problem persists. I have tried manual installation and it gets stuck in the 90% area. The folder is created in File Explorer but is empty.

That is unfortunate, John.  Please contact Microsoft, or the computer manufacturer, to see what additional steps can be taken to resolve the error.

You are also welcome to contact our support team at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html for direct assistance, but you will be asked to perform the same steps that you have already attempted.
