Buying Adobe CC without a subscription

Is it actually possbile to purchase any of the Adobe CC programs (like Illustrator) without a subscription? I've seen people "selling CC" before and I didn't think it was possible without a subscription.

You are correct. Everything is based on a subscription to Creative Cloud -- either a single-product (title) like Illustrator, or access to the entire range of Adobe tools. You can get a free account which does give you some tools (and thousands of fonts), but the primary applications require a subscription.

Do not buy Adobe software from untrusted sources.  If possible, always deal directly with Adobe.  As John said, people offering to sell Creative Cloud without a subscription are thieves.  They want to steal your money, steal your identity or worse, take control of your computer for a ransom. It's not worth the risks.
