Can I delete Adobe downloaded files after installation?

I've  just successfully installed Production Premium CS6 upgrade to my PC. I still have all of the files downloaded from this installation and previous downloads (LS7.7, set up folders, etc..). I've backed up

all of these files. Do I still need them on my computer? I'd like to free up the disk space they are taking, I'm assuming they are not used as part of the program. thanks.

If the install went fine and you backed them up, it is safe to delete them. Just to make sure, I'd start each program. due to licensing restrictions some components only run serialized and if you ever used a trial of any of the products, there may be a "post-install install" required to activate some of these features like e.g. mochaAE. In the past this was the case for all the MPEG CoDecs, also, though that particular limitation should not apply for CS6.
