Can't activate Encore from CS2 anymore

Hi,

I tried to reinstall Adobe Production Premium CS2, including Encore, but that isn't possible. I saw online that the activation servers have been shut down, so I went on to download the version from the website. But unfortunately this doesn't inclusde Encore, and I really need that software tomorrow!

Does anybody have a solution?

then cs2 encore isn't offered, yet. i'm not sure what adobe's doing, if anything, about that.

So after posting about a similar situation where we have had our copy of Acrobat Pro taken away from us, my post(s) were deleted.

I guess this "community" Forum is heavily censored by Adobe.

I did, as usual, get the same scripted responses.

Adobe: "Go to this page and DL the software for free!"

Me: "Where's Acrobat Pro?"

Adobe: "That is an unsupported application"

Me: "Where can I download the software that I paid for?"

Adobe: "Go to this page and DL the software for free!"

etcetera, etcetera...

After giving me another link that doesn't work, he suggested I go here:

"Please visit Adobe User Forums at http://www.adobe.com/support/forums"

LOL I'm in an infinite loop talking to Adobe. The guys on the phone tell me to visit the Forum. The Forum tells me to visit Live Chat. Live Chat tells me to visit the Forum.

Meanwhile back at the Ranch: I've dug up another Mac, installed a downgraded OS to run CS3 and the cutting plug-in and after 4 days down time I'm finally producing work again.

I guess I have nothing more to fear until Adobe deactivate CS3 for me.

Kind of like reverse piracy, isn't it?
