Can't execute the install download for Flash Player 21

I am unable to view any videos and am getting notified that I need to install Adobe Flash.  I've downloaded the the Flash Player 21.  It is in my downloads, however, when trying to execute the install, nothing happens.  I'm going crazy.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

which Operating System and Browser?

Have you tried running the installer as Administrator?

Oh, so very sorry.  I am using Windows Vista Business Edition and Mozilla Firefox as my browser.  When downloading, I am usually given the option to install as Administrator.  Should I reboot my computer and then try.  Sorry, I'm a girl and a stupid head with this stuff.

You could try rebooting your PC, then running the Installer again. Please do this and report

back here, if the installer still has a bad day.
