I've downloaded the 2 files for CS6 Master Collection, they seem to be complete. They are in a folder on my desktop. When I double click on the .exe file I get this error:
The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS5 Master Collection. Please download all parts.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Please and thank you!
You should have an EXE and (I think) a 7Z file
I have read some messages saying that the 7Z file is sometimes downloaded as a TXT file
If that happened to you, rename the TXT part to 7Z and try the install again

Hi Lisam92467853,
As you have mentioned you are unable to install Adobe CS6 on your machine, could you please confirm if you have downloaded the apps from the following page: Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications? If not then please redownload then from here.
After this follow the instructions given in the following FAQ to install the products: How to download, install, and activate Adobe applications
Let us know if this helps.

I have the same error you describe: "The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Please download all parts."
I've tried running this as administrator and that didn't help. I looked at the other suggestions and none of them have worked for me. Any other suggestions?

Did you figure this issue out? I'm having the same problem and can't get in touch with Adobe Support. The downloads I received were links sent to me from an Adobe Support specialist.
