Can't launch and use adobe cs5.5 programs

Hi,

Here goes the problem: anytime i try to launch one of the cs5.5 masters collection programs first

1- i meet the agreement screen

2- i accept

3- then comes the serial number screen

4- i enter the correct serial

Then instead of  launching the program it all loops back to step1 and takes me through the steps

1 to 4 again and again.

Solutions tried so far:

A- last week we already went through the "advanced connectivity troubleshooting" procedure

B- today we went through the procedure "Error: serial number not valid for this product"

Please attached screenshots of my folder \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\

I use windows 7 on a latop machine, same machine i have been using this same

package for years. License is educational and i still have installations rights available.

Many thanks.

Oswald

New changes: as per John's post, i did remove masters collection cs 5.5, removed Photoshop CC, then removed Adobe Cloud desktop then ran CC cleaner. Finaly i reinstalled masters collection. Now it doesn't loop to step1 (original post) anymore but instead the program won't launch (nothing happens)..

Ok, Oswald, it sounds like you are making progress.  The suggestions offered by John are a great next step.

If the applications are currently failing to launch let's confirm that it is due to an installation failure, Oswald.  You previously mentioned this computer was damaged by a malware infection so there could still be some lasting effects from your previous recovery process.

Please check the installation log to determine if there are any errors with the Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection installation.  Details on how to locate and interpret the log can be found at Troubleshoot install issues with log files in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6, CS5.5, CS5), PS Elements, and Premiere Elements .  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover but please do not post the entire log file.  The most recent errors will be at the bottom of the file.  You can use the Find command to locate any occurrences of the word ERROR or FATAL within the installation log, Oswald.

Thanks for posting to a public forum discussion, Oswald.  The second screenshot you posted seems to show the Adobe PCD and caps folder as discussed in Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite .  In fact you have the caps folder highlighted.  What is preventing you from removing these files?  Do you receive an error?
