Can't log into Lightroom 6

I cant load my copy of LR now, even to sign in with my Adobe ID. So annoying that I cant remove trace of the fact that Ive used CC on this machine.

Thanks for the reply. Yes for some annoying reason Ive re-downloaded Adobe App Manager and signed in again in an effort to install/sign out again and it has recognised that I had LR on my Mac already and its 'upgraded' it. Ive tried logging into MY Adobe ID now and it says Im on a trial version.

To clarify, you uninstalled CC, but your computer still recognizes Lightroom as the CC version rather than LR6, and it won't let you use it since you don't have a subscription, is that correct? Did you sign out of Creative Cloud before you uninstalled? If not, can you sign out either from the CC Desktop App, or, if you removed that, from Lightroom itself: Sign in and sign out to activate or deactivate Creative Cloud apps? If you are able to get that far, you can follow the steps in this help document to convert LR back to CS6 using the Adobe ID (e-mail) associated with your perpetual license: How to convert a Lightroom CC trial version to licensed Lightroom 6 copy​.

If you're not able to get into either the CC Desktop App or Lightroom to sign out, it will help us troubleshoot to know a bit more information. You mention that you're getting an error message saying that you've exceeded more than two users. Can you provide the exact text or, better yet, share a screenshot? Also, what operating system is on your Mac?
