Can't open Photoshop CS2 after installing

I have a VERY old version of Photoshop (CS2).  According to Adobe I had to download their install files and use a serial number that they provided.  I followed there instructions and everything installed find.  When I start the software it loads and then tells me "the user name, organization or serial number is invalid".  It says it has to shut down the program, and it does.

I had this same problem a few years ago when installing on Windows 7 (I have Windows 10 now).  Somehow, wish I could remember, I finally got it to work.  I believe that someone in this group helped me.

      Did you installed the apps to correct location?
