Really confused why I can't reinstall Acrobat X Pro (CS6) after deleting it. While trying to reinstall from both the original CS6 disc or from the Adobe website installer download I get the same prompt to close SafariCloudHistory from Activity Monitor, as shown.
After I do that the installer quickly closes and says Acrobat is installed, but it isn't. I thought it might be the disc because the external optical drive I use doesn't always work right, but the downloader from the Adobe site did the same thing.
It was actually a stupid mistake to delete Acrobat – I didn't expect it would be so difficult to reinstall. I use it regularly and need it for work, so any help would be much appreciated.

I tried this at least 3-4 times but after I stop the process in Activity Monitor and click Continue in the installer, the installer quickly closes and says Acrobat is installed, but it isn't – its nowhere to be found and I'm sure the installation was never completed.

Please check whether Acrobat launch icon is created under Applications folder.
If not , Navigate to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
Open Adobe Installers folder and check whether Uninstall Acrobat icon is listed under ?

I checked and no, there's nothing in either of those locations.

Could it be because I also have Acrobat DC (Creative Cloud) installed, and its assuming Acrobat is already installed??

You can install only one version of Acrobat Pro on a computer .
If you wish to install Acrobat Pro XI , you may uninstall DC version and install version XI

I tried to do that and it worked better than before, but now I'm getting "Exit Code: 6/ERROR: DW003" errors and it won't install. Do I have to remove Acrobat Reader DC too, or as some other forums seem to be saying remove CC apps completely and re-then re-install the CS6 apps again? Never had this problem before but then again I never deleted a program before.
