I'm not English native speaker, so I try explain myself as best I can.
I have a CS5 master collection license.
I can install the software and it works fine.
The problem is when I try to register this license into my adobe cloud account, I'm receiving an error that tells me something like: "the provided serial number is invalid".
If I try from CS5 software, it fails because CS live isn't active.
What am I doing wrong?
I can't find any mail to contact with adobe support in order to know what should I do.
I purchased it on a web that sells bulk licenses as an original and unused license.
If this license isn't, I need that adobe team contact with ne to verify it in order to "have a talk" with the website...
you can no longer register old products like cs5.
and you probably purchased an illegal license so if it's activated on your computer you should consider yourself more than lucky. if you purchased it recently, it is an illegal license.
if you want to verify the above, you can contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...
Browser chat doesn't work for legacy products, it redirects me to here.
About twitter... I don't know if they will answer me yet.
you're making a mistake.
Can you elaborate your answer?
I tyoed AGENT, as you told me, buy the chatbot ask some questions and redirects me here.
Can you explain us how we should talk to the bot in order to get an agent involved? Thanks.
I just tried, and you are right that it asked me a question to describe my problem even after typing in AGENT. However, typing AGENT again made the bot say that it is connecting me to an agent and it did. Please try it again
If my license is illegal, adobe should tell me it first.
The business is a verified trustworth website, so it's near impossible that it will be illegal.
And if it's illegal, after adobe technical support confirmed me it, I will claim back my money to business.
good luck. keep us posted.
>sells bulk licenses as an original and unused license
That is not legal and Adobe will not recognize the purchase
