Can't unzip CS6 installer on iMac

I have a license for CS6 (purchased in store) and I have redeemed my code and downloaded the installer on my iMac (Late 2011) running 10.10.4. The installer downloads just fine but I can't unzip the file. Double clicking the downloaded installer simply brings up an extraction window that extracts the file into another zip file. What am I missing?

Kindly install Zip software from http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Unzip the files and see if this helps.
