Ok, so I'm just finding this thread in Oct. 2024. I just ran the Powershell command, but it failed. This is the text it provided. I'm not sure where to go from here. Should I try to contact Adobe live tech support?

    @Mike Sellers

    are you the admin of a teams/enterprise subscription trying to create an installation package?

    No, I'm a regular user in this case. The PC I'm trying to update is my own, not supplied by my employer, so I have full admin rights to the device.

    I think the problem is that I upgraded the drives, and now it is looking for a particular drive that is no longer in use. I was mainly trying to avoid having to uninstall all CC and all the other Adobe apps to solve this issue.

    Yes. That's how I got to the Powershell giving me the error that the remote procedure call failed. Creative Cloud appears to get 75% through the update process, then gives the 507 error.

    ok.  carefully follow each applicable step:

    uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

    then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

    clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

    check for, and if available, update your os

    if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

    if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

    restart your computer (don't skip this)

    reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

    use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>

    if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.
