Hi!

I bought adobe’s photo membership (20GB) few months ago. I wanted to quit the subscription because I found a better photo editing software with a better price. I went to ask some help from the adobe support. I told that I would like to quit the subscription. I got an answer that said yes it is possible but would you get 60 days more for fee. It sounded an good offer and I accepted that. But today i wanted to quit te subscription but then  I noticed I have to pay 50 percent cancellation fee for the remaining time. This feels like scam.

Thank you

I‘m sure you feel like it‘s scam, but effectively its marked in the terms when you take the annual subscription.

I just read it beacuse you said but where it is told is below everything where you can't find it easily. I read terms always few times across after clicking yes. I knew that if cancels 14 days from purchase gets money back or something. I wanted to cancel not getting scammed by stupid offer. That woman didin't say that when i asked is this free and will something change.

Did you try to cancel at the end of your regular term? If yes, negotiate your way out. Contact Customer Care

Your phone company will do probably the same to try to keep you.

Let me be clear: Those 2 months should clearly state that you are taking a next full year. I‘m sure that if they would state that, less people would accept.

But still: its psychological, and many people fall in the pit. Take it as a lesson: No company offers something for free. There is always a reason. My car dealer offers me free packages when I take the newest car. I‘m happy with my old one. I will take the free packages when I buy a new one...
