cancellation fee?

Hi.

I am a highschool student who used her mother's credit card to purchase photoshop for a month because I needed it for a digital art assignment. When I finished my project, I cancelled my subscription. My mom had no problem with paying $19.99, but then photoshop said I have to pay EIGHTY DOLLARS for a cancellation fee. Why? I didn't use the product for more than 10 working hours and I still paid for a whole month. My mom is going to kill me if she has to pay $80 to CANCEL something that didn't even cost twenty. How do I get the cancellation fee waived or refunded? This is ridiculous.

This is a User forum not Adobe support.  You need to contact  Adobe Customer services you need to deal with Adobe.. See if the will waver the fee you entered a one year agreement with Adobe you are braking it there is a cancellation fee..

Just speak to them and explain your situation through chat or phone they are very reasonable at resolving issues.

This is a product user-to-user forum.  Nobody here can help you with billing questions.  Those must be taken up with Adobe Customer Care.

Insofar as what you ordered, there are 2 plan options.  Month-to-month costs $29.99/mo but you can cancel at anytime without penalty.

Annual plan, paid monthly is a 12 month agreement.  Early cancellation incurs a penalty fee of 50% of the unpaid balance.

It sounds like you went for the cheaper monthly price of $19.99 and thus committed yourself to 12 months of service.
